Nancy Damar

Nancy believes yoga is the perfect antidote to modern life. In her personal practice, she focuses on cultivating flexibility and strength in the mind. Developing the same qualities in the body is just a bonus! Her classes are designed to help you do the same.

Nancy received her 200-hour certification in Annie Carpenter’s SmartFLOW yoga, a style known for mindful sequencing grounded in respect for healthy alignment that celebrates the uniqueness of every student’s body.



Nancy Damar instructs the following:
  • Intro to Yoga (Non-Heated)
  • The ultimate un-heated beginners class. This class breaks down yoga postures and asanas to the basic level, to give you the most fundamental knowledge. Learn refinement and alignment of breathing along with both the physical and mental aspects of your yoga practice.
     
    Temperature: 80 degrees
    Recommended: yoga mat, optional (yoga towel, water)

  • All Levels Vinyasa Flow (Non-Heated)
  • Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic flowing yoga practice. Vinyasa literally translates to breath-sycronized movement and it is cardiovascular by nature. You will be guided to move and flow, connecting the postures together with the breath (inhale and exhale) to create a dance-like sequence or as some have called it, a "Moving Meditation".
     
    Temperature: 80 degrees
    Recommended: yoga mat, yoga towel, and water

  • Candlelight Yin (Non-Heated)
  • same as Yin but with candlelights.
     
    Temperature: 80 degrees
    Recommended: yoga mat, optional (yoga towel, water)
